Hotel Gite du Survenant Montreal

Suited us very well for our purpose of attending an event at the Olympic Park complex. Very close by to the park. This is a quiet neighbourhood with not much in the way of amenities or activities, but with the metro nearly right across the street, you can be in any other part of the city extremely quickly. Parking is a challenge, but if you check any correspondence with the hotel, they forewarn you of this and offer you reasonable options. The facilities themselves were comfortable and well equipped. Having a fridge, stove and kitchen is always a bonus while travelling. If I had one complaint it would be that the price was a bit steep. In this case, the bit of extra convenience to our event justified the expense, but overall it would be nice to see a more competitive rate. Merci, Gite du Survenant, for an excellent accommodation.

I found this place online and was really satisfied with the service and time there. The owner was very helpful when I reached out to them about the code to access. I really enjoyed my stay there. The room is so big, with one queen-sized bed, a wardrobe, and a TV. It is located near the Biodome and Olympic Stadium, which is also a great place to visit. You can easily access the metro and bus in just a few minutes of walking. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. This place made me feel so comfortable and offered a great deal. Affordable place with huge benefits. Everything is beyond my expectations. I will definitely come again next time I'm back in Montreal.

The owners are great and very helpful. Its very quiet and Monique who cleans the room is very nice and she will take the time to answer your questions. There's a washer and dryer you can use, also a full kitchen outside the rooms if you need it! Very happy with our decision, 5 minutes from Rosemont Maisonneuve Hospital if you have an appointment and you want to be close by!

Convenient location for conference at nearby hotel at half the price. Cozy, clean, and quiet.

I stayed here on a solo vacation about 2 1/2 months ago and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well put together my room was. Additionally, as mentioned by some of the other reviewers, this guest house is in an excellent location near a metro station, the botanical gardens, and Olympic Village. But perhaps most impressive was the price - it was less than $80/night for me!

Such a lovely apartment I stayed at. Super clean, tidy, and I stress on CLEAN a lot . They offered me a free private safe car parking during my stay. I was staying there just to spend the night after traveling from Ottawa & the next day I just felt I wana stay another night and so it was ! Highly recommend

I was searching for Airbnb-like accommodations near Olympic Place and found one at a reasonable price. I was thrilled at the idea of staying in an apartment and experiencing life like a local. It turned out to be a heritage building, which was a delightful surprise. Staying in this type of apartment was a unique experience. There's one entrance for approximately three different units. My unit, on the second level, had a few rooms and a kitchen. It felt somewhat like a shared accommodation. Although they mentioned a private bathroom, it was actually located across from our room, which was a bit unexpected. However, it did come with a key, ensuring private bathroom as promised. Parking was challenging, as the road was very narrow and limited to non-residents. We ended up parking at Olympic Place.

Lovely, clean and considerate place to stay just across the street from the Biodome, Olympic stadium, planetarium, and a few blocks from the botanical garden and insectarium. Rooms were large with comfy beds and plenty of closet, and we opted for the personal bathroom. Lovely shared kitchen and front garden as well.
